A little about me: I’m Anisa Lewis, a Parent Coach with over 25 years of experience working with families, schools, and educators. With a background in teaching and education, I support parents in fostering confidence, connection, and communication at home. My work focuses on practical, down-to-earth strategies that help families navigate parenting with more ease and less stress. My upcoming Parenting Conversations: Supporting Children’s Big Emotions session is designed to help parents and carers better understand and support their child’s frustration, anxiety, and overwhelm. It’s an engaging, relatable talk filled with real-life examples and easy-to-implement strategies to build emotional resilience in children aged 3 to 13, including those who are neurodivergent. Parenting is an emotional rollercoaster, and when our children experience big feelings - frustration, anger, anxiety, or overwhelm, it can be hard to know how best to support them. This in-person talk is your roadmap to understanding, guiding, and responding to your child’s emotions with confidence and connection. Join me for an engaging, down-to-earth session filled with real-life examples, easy-to-implement techniques, and plenty of “Aha!” moments. You’ll leave feeling empowered, reassured, and ready to support your child through life’s emotional ups and downs.
